A great sea of glass was referred to in Revelation 4:6 where John wrote about seeing a mirror-like ocean in front of the Throne of God. I love the image of a perfect stillness that reflects God's glory. It is that place that I retreat to daily in prayer. And it is from that place that I draw my thoughts and ideas.  This blog is a collection of memories, favorite quotes and inspirational thoughts that I hope to share with you. It is my prayer that your time spent here is a tiny bit like sitting by a still lake. A little mini vacation from the noise of life.

I know that my life here in Arizona can get pretty hectic with my family and my three cats.  So any chance I get to sneak away to write about the Lord is a blessing!  If you would like to get to know me a bit better you can watch my Chapel Talk about God's love, that I gave at Biola University recently.
